The art of knitting was a pastime that my Gran used to do. I learnt how to knit booties before I was 5 yrs old, I knitted for the fun and seeing a pattern take shape into a hand crafted piece of art gabe me a warm and fuzzy feeling. My Gran used to sell her goods to a reputable chain store and somehow receving a hand made item always made me feel like I was special and that it was made for me and me only.

As I have got older and realised that I was blessed to be taught such a simple skill.
